Brush Lettering is a modern style of calligraphy that is inspired by pointed pen calligraphy. In 1973, Japanese company Kuretake created the refillable Fudepen “brush pen”. The brush pen made calligraphy easily accessible and it requires no maintenance, only replace the cap so the ink does not dry out.
All you need is a brush pen and paper to create beautiful calligraphy anywhere and everywhere! Brush Lettering can be used to create cards, envelopes, posters, gift wrap, and anything your heart desires.
Please join Miranda for four fun and relaxing mornings of beautiful writing. No prior experience is necessary. Handouts with step-by-step instructions will be provided.
All materials are provided. A one-time $25.00 supply fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of the first class.
Limited spacing available; pre-registration is required. Please direct all questions to Liz Friend at Liz.Friend@williamsoncounty-tn.gov. All credits/transfers/refunds must be processed with Liz at least 48 hours prior to the class.
