Nurture your natural artistic ability or push your limits to learn a new skill and talent. WCPR offers a number of arts and crafts classes led by an incredible team of instructors. If you only enjoy the occasional art experience due to an already filled personal calendar, register to attend one-time, open workshops. If you can’t find time during the week then check out our array of weekend workshops. Or, maybe you have time and want to commit to an extended program that offers weekly art classes to advance your skill on a weekly basis. Whatever your schedule, we have just the right program to meet your needs through a variety of art mediums and techniques. Inside & Out Painting with Joan
Dress for the outdoors, bring water if you like, and be prepared to stand and walk through uneven ground. If you prefer your own supplies, bring them -- basic acrylic paints, brushes, paper, and easels will be provided.

No experience necessary!! For those wanting to work with clay for the first time as well as those who just need a place to master their craft, our pottery class takes all comers. Wheels and kilns on site; make it, bake it, take it right here at the Fairview Rec Center. We suggest you prepare for a messy and fun time!! *Please note: projects can the multiple sessions to build, dry, paint, glaze and fire, depending on the scope and size.

Williamson County is proud to announce that we will be offering 6-week art programs for home school students in Middle Tennessee. This will be held at the Fairview Recreation Center on Thursday mornings. These programs will go over a variety of techniques and instruction to help foster the enjoyment of pottery and painting. Don't forget to dress for the mess and ask about our sibling discount!
