Join us for an introductory sewing class! Over the five class sessions, you will learn how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, measure yourself for patterns, what to look for when purchasing fabric and notions, and how to read a pattern.
Students will practice all of these skills on in-class projects including a pair of pajama pants.
Sewing machines will be provided for use in class. The instructor will provide the pattern for the pajama pants. A $15.00 supply fee is due to the instructor at the first class.
After learning about different fabrics, students will purchase their own fabric and notions to create their pajama pants.

If you have already taken our introductory "Learn to Sew" class or you already know the basics of using a sewing machine, this is the class for you!
Join us for a new project that will teach you new skills! Over the four class sessions, you will continue to practice using patterns to construct a tailored skirt with a zipper. you will gain knowledge in essential sewing skills such as interfacing, gathering, darts, hems, trims, and embellishments.
Sewing machines will be provided for use in class. The instructor will provide the pattern for skirt. A $15.00 supply fee is due to the instructor at the first class.

Want to take your photography to the next level? Learn to easily edit your images. We'll cover the basics of photo editing in this class. The instructor will demonstrate mostly on an iPhone and also show the basics of computer editing with Adobe's Lightroom program. The lesson also applies well to iPads, Android phones, and other simple computer editing programs such a Apple's Photos program. Photo taking and printing tips will be given as well.

This 6-week photography class is for beginner photographers who are looking to greatly increase their understanding and skills in digital photography. A DSLR camera is required for this class.
Students will meet weekly on Tuesday evenings. Students can expect to learn the foundational skills of exposure, using the manual setting on their camera, focusing techniques, photo composition, and the basics of photo editing.
One of the class sessions will involve taking photos outside of the Nolensville Rec Center or at a nearby park.
Students must bring their own DSLR camera. Bringing the manual for the camera is highly recommended.
Students will receive a 10% discount if they also register for Photoshop Layers - 6 Session Course | 5/2 - 6/6 . The discount will automatically be applied when both classes are added to your cart.

Layers are the foundation of Photoshop. Photoshop Layers will be an extensive study of everything to do with layers, including opacity, blend modes, layer adjustments, layer styles, text layers, and masking.

This 2 session class will cover all the basics for drawing fundamentals from line quality, to form, to shading. If you want to improve your sketching and drawing abilities come and join us.
Students should bring drawing pencils, an eraser, a small set of colored pencils (I recommend prismacolor or faber castel), and some blending stumps.

Join us in learning a new, meditative hobby!
The Zentangle method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by using structured patterns. These patterns are called tangles, and they are created with combinations of dots, lines, curves, s-curves and orbs. Students will learn to create their tangles on paper using micron pens, gel pens, and chalk pencils.
The instructor will provide all the necessary materials for the class.

Join us for an introductory watercolor class! In this class, students will start by learning basic watercolor techniques that they will then apply to a nature themed painting that changes each month. At the end of class, students will go home with their painting and an additional watercolor challenge.
Beginning Watercolor is offered once a month. Take just one or take them all! Registration is required for each class you plan to attend.

During our 4 hours together we will learn skills, practice those skills, and create a small piece of finished work. This class will equip you to start exploring watercolors with more confidence.
Students should bring the following items to class:
- Set of brushes (round/flat in various sizes)
- Watercolor paints - (instructor recommends Cotmans or Grumbacher for getting started if you don’t already own paints.) Paint is tubes is also recommend over pans. Bring whatever colors you have and love but make sure you have a basic red, blue, yellow, a green, and a violet
- A pallet
- Pencil/eraser
The instructor will supply watercolor paper.
