Community Events

One of the Community Activities Division’s favorite aspects of what we do is to create fun and engaging community events for the residents of our community.  Nothing pleases us more than seeing our hard work and preparations culminate in families spending quality time having fun together, sharing smiles and laughter.  Our department is proud to say that we offer, on average, around 60 Community Events per year in all corners of Williamson County.  Annual favorites include Father & Daughter Dances, Touch-A-Truck, Egg Hunts, Holiday Events, Kite Festival, Community Band and Community Choir performances and many more.

Come and view the work of local native artist from Dickson, TN; Kimberly Daniel.  Still new to the Plein Air Painting Movement, Kimberly has been putting miles on her brushes all over Tennessee for the past four years.  She tries to capture the beauty of our region and preserve iconic scenes from the past.  We are excited to announce that Kimberly is now teaching classes for Williamson County Parks & Recreation.  Visit the activities; arts & crafts page for more information about class times.
