Community Events

One of the Community Activities Division’s favorite aspects of what we do is to create fun and engaging community events for the residents of our community.  Nothing pleases us more than seeing our hard work and preparations culminate in families spending quality time having fun together, sharing smiles and laughter.  Our department is proud to say that we offer, on average, around 60 Community Events per year in all corners of Williamson County.  Annual favorites include Father & Daughter Dances, Touch-A-Truck, Egg Hunts, Holiday Events, Kite Festival, Community Band and Community Choir performances and many more.

Enrichment Center (110 Everbright Ave)

Join Williamson County Parks & Recreation in welcoming our newest Artist on Display, Bill Schumm, at the Enrichment Center, 110 Everbright Ave.  Stop by the Enrichment Center during regular business hours and view his work throughout the building.  He will be exhibited through January 31, 2022.

Bill is a prolific talent who has taken the middle Tennessee art scene by storm. Bill began his artistic journey in 2014; he has produced one oil painting every nine days, over the last seven years.  His creative process highlights the past and present of Nashville, pastoral beauty, cultural icons and the lives of everyday artists who indeed make a difference.
