Williamson County Parks and Recreation offers a variety of Senior Programs for Williamson County Residents. Read below for a list of classes and activities around the county!

Flyer 4th Annual Senior Resource Fair - POSTPONED
Seniors and Caregivers are invited to this FREE event at the Enrichment Center hosted by Williamson County Parks and Recreation. Expert vendors will provide you with valuable information and options to plan for years ahead. Stop in and learn about all that is offered to our senior community!

This event has been postponed until further notice. Please check back regularly for any updates.






ENRICHMENT CENTER/ACADEMY PARK ACTIVITIES
Senior Lounge
Come enjoy the spacious Senior Lounge for socialization and pool. Games and puzzles are prohibited at this time. Feel free to bring your own coffee; beverages and supplies will not be provided. Access to the Senior Lounge is included with the general admission fee ($1) or free if you have a WCPR pass. Space is limited, please call 615-786-0186 to reserve your seat.

Bingo
BINGO is back! Invite your friends and join us for our monthly bingo and who knows you just might take home a prize. As per local health guidelines and restrictions, we will not be having potluck at this time. No refreshments will be provided and the sharing of food and drink is prohibited. A maximum of two persons per table to ensure social distancing. Masks/face coverings are required. This is a FREE event and we encourage new community members to join us. Senior Movie Days
Join us at the Performing Arts Center for Senior Movie Days! Show times are at 10am, with a general admission of $1 (popcorn not provided, outside food/drink prohibited). Next movie will be shown on Tuesday, April 20th. Please call the Enrichment Center front desk at 615-786-0186 for each month's movie selection. Registration required, click HERE to register.

Yarn Club
Come socialize & share with friends in the fun of knitting and crocheting! Please stop by the front desk to scan your Enrichment Center pass or pay $1 general admission. Yarn club meets every Wednesday from 10am-12pm and Friday from 10am-12pm. Space is limited, click HERE to register. 

Open Art Studio
Express yourself through your own media in our Open Art Studio! Bring your own supplies and ideas. This class will help teach you new techniques and hone in on your artistic abilities. The cost is $2 for Enrichment Center pass holders and $4 for non-pass holders. Instructor: Pam Irvin. Class meets every Monday from 9am-12pm. Class size is limited, click HERE to register. 

Open Watercolors Studio
We are adding an Open Watercolors Studio! Bring your own supplies and ideas. This class will help teach you new techniques and hone in on your artistic abilities. Instructor: Pam Irvin. The cost is $2 for Enrichment Center pass holders and $4 for non-pass holders. Class meets every Wednesday from 1pm-3:30pm. Class size is limited, click HERE to register. 

Dulcimer Dandies 
Whether you are skilled or new to the dulcimer, you will enjoy practicing and learning with this group. They perform at senior events and other activities throughout the year. Dulcimer Dandies meets every Wednesday from 9am-12pm. Space is limited, click HERE to register. 

Senior Hikes
Join us for a hiking adventure at Edwin Warner Park where we will get to see Spring come into bloom! Patrons will provide their own transportation to the park and we will meet at the Warner Park Nature Center. *Please note that participants must be able to walk independently on different types of terrain. Transportation will not be provided but we plan to stay together as a group, which is why registration is important. This outing is weather dependent and if we need to cancel the outing we will notify everyone as soon as possible.* Registration required, click HERE to register.

Outdoor Pickleball League
Make new friends and brush up on your pickleball skills! Sign up individually and play with a different partner each week. Games will be played in a Round Robin format. Each match will consist of 1 game to 15pts points by a 2-point margin. Tuesdays, April 13th—May 18th from 10am until 12:30pm at the Academy Park Outdoor Courts. Must be 55+ to register. FAIRVIEW ACTIVITIES
Senior Lounge

LONGVIEW ACTIVITIES
Senior Wii Bowling
Ready to Bowl? No experience necessary but FUN is required! This is a great chance to add some social activity back to your life. Join us Thursday mornings (April 15th - May27th) from 10:00am until noon for some strikes, spares, gutter balls and laughs. Covid restrictions and facility protocol will apply.
