Williamson County Parks and Recreation offers a variety of Senior Programs for Williamson County Residents. Read below for a list of classes and activities around the county!

Williamson County Parks and Recreation provides a newsletter outlining all of our Senior programs at various facilities. Paper copies of the newsletter are available at each facility or click HERE to download your copy! ENRICHMENT CENTER/ACADEMY PARK ACTIVITIES

Senior Lounge
Come enjoy the spacious Senior Lounge for socialization and coffee! Games, puzzles, pool table and other equipment available first come, first serve. Access to the Senior Lounge is included with the general admission fee or free if you have a WCPR pass.

Schedule:
Mondays: Veteran’s Coffee Club 9am-12pm                  
Tuesdays: Pool 9am-12pm
Wednesdays: Mahjong 9am-12pm
Thursdays: Bridge 9am-12pm                                                       

Bingo
Hosted every first Wednesday of the month from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. Invite your friends and join us for our monthly bingo and who knows, you just might take home a prize! This is a FREE event and we encourage new community members to join us. Registration required.

Senior Movie Matinee
Join us at the Performing Arts Center for FREE Senior Movie Matinee! Show times are at 10am, doors open at 9:30am. No admission after 10:10am.  (Popcorn not provided, outside food/drink prohibited). Please call 615-786-0186 and dial zero to reach the Enrichment Center front desk to ask for the movie titles or click HERE to reference our monthly senior newsletter.

Open Art Studio
Express yourself through your own media in our Open Art Studio! Bring your own supplies and ideas. This class will help teach you new techniques and hone in on your artistic abilities. The cost is $2 for Enrichment Center pass holders and $4 for non-pass holders. Instructor: Pam Irvin. Class meets every Monday from 9am-12pm. 

Open Watercolors Studio
Join instructor Pam Irvin for open studio time specifically for watercolor! Bring your own supplies and ideas. The cost is $2 for Enrichment Center pass holders and $4 for non-pass holders. Class meets every Wednesday from 1pm-3:30pm. 

Dulcimer Dandies 
Whether you are skilled or new to the dulcimer, you will enjoy practicing and learning with this group. Must bring your own instrument. The Dulcimer Dandies perform at senior events and other activities throughout the year. 
Yarn Club
Come socialize & share with friends in the fun of knitting and crocheting! Please stop by the front desk to scan your Enrichment Center pass or pay general admission. Yarn club meets every Wednesday from 10am-12pm and Friday from 10am-12pm.


FAIRVIEW ACTIVITIES

Country Fried Christmas Holiday Potluck Luncheon
Join us a festive meal and a Christmas-themed game afterwards! We're bringing the chicken if you'll bring a side dish to share. The cost is $10/person and the luncheon will be on Monday, December 11 from 11am-2pm. Registration opens 12/4 and will be open until full. Click here to register (Registration Code: 31646)

Hosted every second Tuesday of the month from 10:00am until 11:00am! Invite your friends and join us for our monthly bingo and who knows you just might take home a prize. This is a FREE event and we encourage new community members to join us. Registration required.

Senior Lounge
Come enjoy the spacious Senior activity space at Longview!  Available daily (including weekends!) from 9am until 5pm. Come by for cards, games, puzzles and more! Ping pong, pool table, and other equipment available upon request! Access to the Senior Lounge is included with the general admission fee or free if you have a WCPR pass.

Wednesdays: Bridge 9am-12pm
Thursdays (8/31-12/14): Wii Bowling League 10am-12pm
  


NOLENSVILLE ACTIVITIES
Bingo
Hosted the second Wednesday each month from 1:00pm until 2:00pm! Invite your friends and join us for our monthly bingo and who knows you just might take home a prize. This is a FREE event and we encourage new community members to join us. Registration required.

Senior Lounge
Twice a week (Wednesdays & Fridays 12:00pm-4:00pm) the game room will become a senior lounge; exclusively for senior 55+ to come socialize. Access to the Senior Lounge is included with the general admission fee or free if you have a WCPR pass.
