Unfortunately the majority of Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) department organized senior programs and classes; along with large group activities and events taking place in WCPR facilities and parks for the foreseeable future have been cancelled. As federal, state and county operation guidelines are released, we hope to begin a gradual, modified list of programming opportunities, as allowed. At this time, only a select few senior programs/classes are available including senior fitness classes (at all main locations), Open Art (at the Enrichment Center), Yarn Club (at the Enrichment Center), and Dulcimer Dandies (at the Enrichment Center).
The Senior Division offers a variety of programs to enhance the quality of life of adults, ages 55 and up, living in Williamson County. Activities range from fitness, heath and wellness enrichment, day trips and special events. Senior programs are offered at six recreation facilities: Fairview Recreation Complex, Franklin Recreation Complex, Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville, and Williamson County Enrichment Center at Academy Park.
