GroovaRoo is a low impact dance class. It is a great way to practice self-care for pregnant moms and baby wearing caregivers (moms, dads, grandparents, etc.) of infants 6 weeks old to toddlers. It doesn't matter how you dance, just how you feel while you're dancing. Our GroovaRoo classes are judgement-free zones that foster love and connectedness. Our Certified GroovaRoo instructors are there to help you feel comfortable and confident while bonding with baby and having a blast! Foster a secure attachment with your child, while improving your mental health and well-being and connecting with other caregivers who support one another on the journey of parenthood. No dance experience necessary. If you can walk, you can learn to GroovaRoo. Please wear comfortable shoes, bring a water bottle and an ergonomic baby carrier or stretchy wrap for newborns. A combination of Judo and Karate will gives students a well-rounded program of physical fitness, and self-confidence through increased self-esteem and self-defense skills. Students can progress through black belt and will have the opportunity to compete in tournaments.

In this class, students will learn the martial art of Tae Kwon-Do. Students that learn the art of Tae Kwon-Do also gain the benefit of learning the techniques and ways of self defense, which can generate higher self-esteem and confidence. Eddie Manor is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and has over 37 years of experience with the art of Tae Kwon-Do.

You take each pose just as far as YOU want to take it; the result is a workout as challenging or as easy as you choose.  The stretching, toning, and strengthening will help you take better control of your life. Please bring a yoga mat to class.
