Williamson County Community Chorus

Mission Statement:
It is the goal of the Williamson County Community Chorus to engage passions, inspire achievement, deepen connections and broaden community through choral music. The purpose of the chorus is to build an inclusive choral community which will entertain and inspire our audiences and members with diverse, challenging, and eclectic choral concerts. The chorus will sing everything from a major classical choral work with orchestra to spirituals to lighter choral music. We will explore and enjoy choral music!

The Williamson County Community Chorus was founded in 2017 under the direction of Dr. Linda Bolding. The chorus grew quickly and at only 2 years old was invited to sing at Carnegie Hall in February 2020. The chorus is open for participation by qualified High School students, adults and seniors who have past experience and a passion for singing.  The chorus performs no less than twice a year at the culmination of each session: Fall/Winter (August-Dec) and Spring (Jan-April) and enjoys a break over the summer months.  They have performed large scale concerts, singing with an orchestra, and most recently kicked off the Christmas season to an audience of over 600. We are delighted for the success of this group and invite residents to audition and to support us in the audience.

The Road Home – Spring Concert
Description: Invite your friends and join us for "The Road Home", a spring concert performed by the Williamson County Community Chorus under the direction of Karen Mabry Lewis. This is a FREE event but due to limited seating, registration is required in advance for all guests planning to attend.

Priority Registration – Fall 2024
Description: Priority registration for returning members of the Williamson County Community Chorus. Auditions will only be offered if any vacancies occur.

The Community Chorus rehearses Tuesdays at 6:30 PM p.m. on the Academy Park campus. If you are interested in joining the chorus, please click HERE to add yourself to our contact list and you will be notified the next time auditions are held.
