Music Classes
WCPR offers a variety of affordable music classes for children, teens, adults and seniors. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student, our instructors will guide you to improve your musical abilities. Classes focus on reading music, developing technique, music theory and skill development. The ability to play a musical instrument is on 90% of people’s “wish list” of talent and it is never too late to learn.

![]() Nolensville Recreation Complex Ages: 9 & up Instructor: Phil Mikel Weekly, private guitar or piano lessons are available. Instruction will include performance technique and musical theory, which is tailored to the student's skill level and interests. Lessons are offered in 30 minute time frames, $15 per lesson. If you are a new student, please contact Nathan McBeth at Nathan.McBeth@williamsoncounty-tn.gov for available time slots prior to registering. |
![]() Ages: 4+ Thursdays at Indoor Sports Complex Fridays At Franklin Rec Center Instructor: James Weinberg Private weekly piano lessons for beginning to intermediate levels. Learn note reading skills, music theory, and artistic technique using a variety of styles. Call/text James at 615-268-2296 or email 88keys@pianomail.net to reserve your 30 minutes time slot. Once your time slot is reserved, the instructor will give you a link for on-line registration to complete your registration and payment process. In this course students will learn how to play either the guitar or ukulele. The courses cater to all levels of musicianship (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). It is recommended that students bring their own instruments however, the instructor can provide instrument for class time only.
