Music Classes

WCPR offers a variety of affordable music classes for children, teens, adults and seniors.  Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student, our instructors will guide you to improve your musical abilities.  Classes focus on reading music, developing technique, music theory and skill development.  The ability to play a musical instrument is on 90% of people’s “wish list” of talent and it is never too late to learn.

Ages: Youth (8-13 years old) and Teen/Adult (14 and older)
Cost: $100/month + $20 Supply fee payable to instructor at the start of class
(Pay for full session in advance)
Instructor: Jonathan Jimmerson
3-month session: January - March


In this course students will learn how to play either the guitar or ukulele. The courses cater to all levels of musicianship (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). It is recommended that students bring their own instruments however, the instructor can provide instrument for class time only. 
Instructor Jonathan Jimmerson came from Northern California where he produced music, recorded, taught, and performed at a high level.

Wednesdays: Teen/Adult Lessons: 6:45-7:45 PM

Franklin Recreation Center (1120 Hillsboro Rd.) 
Thursdays: Youth Lessons: 5:00-6:00 PM
Thursdays: Teen/Adult Lessons: 6:00-7:00 PM
