Williamson County Parks and Recreation supports the recruiting efforts of the Census Bureau as they seek applicants for the 2020 Census!
The Census Bureau is actively recruiting to fill full and part-time positions throughout the U.S. The initial call to hire more than 150 people in Williamson County has been successful leaving around 20% of the goal remaining. These positions offer:
- Excellent pay, from $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
- Some positions allow flexible scheduling, including days night and weekends
- Work in your local community
- Paid training
- $0.58 per mile vehicle reimbursement for some positions
Employees hired to support the 2020 Census will assist in projects to insure that every resident in Williamson County is counted during the 2020 Census. Williamson County will receive nearly $2000 each year from the federal government for every resident that is counted during the 2020 census. Imagine what our community can do with millions of dollars of additional revenue!
