The Summer Basketball Camps will be led by Steve Shipley. Steve has over thirty years of Varsity Head Coaching experience with both boys and girls teams, and has led hundreds of camps not only in Tennessee, but internationally as well. The camp is designed to be a fun way to introduce the sport of Basketball to new players and to develop and refine the skills of experienced players.

Ron Carter is our Flag Football Camp Director. He grew up in Texas where he played football at Baylor University. He has operated football, track, and sports camps for various organizations and coached at First Baptist Dallas Academy. He also holds the TN state master's bench press record and has served in ministry for over 25 years. The WCPR Flag Football Camp will cover basic athletic and flag football skills. Campers will receive instruction in throwing technique, catching drills, route running, as well as running form and muscle development. After daily drills, campers will be split into teams for scrimmages.

Our Table Tennis Summer Camps will be led by Linda Liu. Linda was born in China and has been playing Table Tennis since she was six years old. She is a highly decorated player, having won many competitions and tournaments throughout her life in China and in the United States. Linda has also coached Table Tennis in both countries, and began teaching the WCPR Summer Camps in 2018. The goal of these camps is to teach the basics of Table Tennis and develop several skills such as strokes, serves, and rules and tactics.

Jonathan Hains will be instructing this Summer's Tennis Camps. Jonathan is a USPTA Elite Professional who joined the WCPR Athletics staff as a teaching professional and coach in 1997. He served as the President for the Tennessee Chapter of the USPTA for six years and has been the Boys and Girls Varsity Tennis Coach at Franklin Road Academy since 2002. Coach Hains takes pride in developing a wide variety of tennis players, and helping those players develop their skills to the highest possible level.
