Williamson County Community Chorus Director, Karen Mabry Lewis
Meet Karen Mabry Lewis, director of the Williamson County Community Chorus:
Karen Mabry Lewis, originally from Hopkinsville, KY has relocated to our area after retiring as a veteran choral music educator from the Dallas area after 34 years. She obtained her BM degree with concentration in Voice from Belmont University and a MM degree from SMU in Music Education and Vocal Performance. Karen was a successful music educator throughout her career, which encompassed performances with John Rutter, Andre' Thomas, Region Choirs and numerous musical theatre productions.
After relocating to Williamson County, she has been active with Immanuel Baptist Church, Nashville, the Concert Chorale of Nashville, adjunct faculty member at Belmont University, and local accompanist.
She is very excited for the opportunity to continue the enthusiastic vision of the Williamson County Community Chorus and hopes that many residents will continue to be involved, actively inviting others to join in on our community's music-making priority. "
