Introducing Bob Ross® for Kids with Certified Ross Instructor®, Quintin Burlingame! This camp is designed for younger artists who want to create gorgeous landscape paintings but are not quite ready for messy oil paints. Quintin will guide students through the basics of using acrylic paints and help them achieve happy little masterpieces.

From "Happy Little Trees" to "Mighty Mountains," students can join Certified Ross Instructor®, Quintin Burlingame, to learn the Bob Ross Wet-On-Wet technique® made famous on The Joy of Painting®. Each class, students complete an oil on canvas painting focusing on individual components, ultimately culminating into one of Bob's iconic mountain landscapes.

Get ready for creative fun this summer at Mad Scientist Art Camp! This four-day art/science camp is nonstop action and fun covering a multitude of mediums that will propel the imagination of any student. While art is the focus of the camp, students will engage in fun science experiments that teach them new, creative techniques. Traditional ways of creating art, such as drawing and sculpting, will also be covered with engaging subjects including monsters and video game characters.

The morning session is for ages 6 -10. The afternoon session is for ages 11 - 15.

All materials are provided by the instructor. A one-time $10.00 supply fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of the first day.

Bring your best ideas for your finished book! Will it be for a story with illustrations? Will it be a graphic novel or anime? Will it be for a sketchbook or poems? We will create handmade paper together, design and craft an illustrated cover for your book, set up your pages with headings and other small details, and then bind them. Let your creativity soar and come with your best ideas!

You will want to bring a color reference picture (or two) or a device with the internet so you can browse reference ideas for your cover and/or illustrations.

Are you looking for ways to get all your ideas out on paper while having fun and feeling excited about what you are creating? Let's have a blast together exploring fun and creative ways to fill a sketchbook. From inches and thumbnail sketches, quotes and lyrics, zentangles, and crazy prompts that stretch your imagination, you will have a blast igniting your creativity while drawing the things you like to draw.

What do you like to draw? What do you want to learn more about? Are you wondering how to make things look more 3-D or how to make a texture like hair look more real? Come explore basic drawing techniques in graphite, charcoal, and pen and ink. No matter your experience level you will have a great time increasing your skills while you flex your creativity. You will want to bring a device with internet so you can browse reference ideas.

Basic supplies will be provided by the instructor, and a $5.00 supply fee is due to the instructor at the start of the first day. Students may bring their favorite drawing supplies (like colored pencils, markers for artists, colored pens etc.) to experiment with and gain skills with the guidance of the instructor.

This weekly, 4 day camp offers an exciting and unique experience for children of ages 6 -10! Each day begins with story time, where campers will be introduced to a new and exciting tale. Then, the campers will be guided through multiple craft projects related to the story they just heard. The crafts will be fun, creative, and educational, helping to expand the campers’ knowledge of the fairy-tale world. This camp is sure to be a great way for campers to learn, grow, and have fun!

Storybook Decoupage will alternate weeks between Franklin and Nolensville so everyone has a chance to hear their favorite stories. Check out the dates below!
