Facility Closures

All Williamson County Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed  Friday, April 2 and Sunday, April 4, 2010 in observance of Good Friday and Easter. 
All facilities, excluding the Longview Recreation Center, will be open during regular operating hours on Saturday, April 3, and all facilities will resume regular schedules beginning Monday, April 5, 2010.

Fairview Youth Baseball

Registration for Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Youth Baseball program in the Fairview community is going on through March 19.  The league is open to children ages 3 to 17.  Registration forms can be picked up at the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Boulevard.  For more information contact Ron Embry at (615) 799-9331 or RonE@williamson-tn.org. 


Brunch with the Bunny

Hop on out to the Longview Recreation Center, 2909 Commonwealth Drive, Spring Hill; and join the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department for Brunch with the Bunny on Saturday, March 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Children ages 10 & younger will have the opportunity to enjoy a light breakfast; then afterwards have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny! 

Cost is $6.00 per child.  Parent(s) or guardian(s) are required to attend with child(ren).  Please be aware that space is limited for this event.  Reservations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until full.  Registration begins Monday, March, 1 and payment must be made by Tuesday, March 23 in order to secure a reservation.

Egg Hunts

Join Williamson County Parks & Recreation for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt(s) on Saturday, March 27. Hunts will take place at three sites across Williamson County with the first hunts beginning at 10 a.m. at the Franklin Recreation Complex Soccer Fields, 1120 Hillsboro Road, and the Fairview Recreation Complex Football Field, 2714 Fairview Blvd. Our last hunt will begin at 1 p.m. at the Longview Elementary School P.E. Field, 2929 Commonwealth Drive, Spring Hill. 

The Egg Hunts are for children ages 10 and younger and are free of charge!  Children will need to bring their own basket or sack for gathering Easter Eggs, and Mom and Dad, the Easter Bunny will be available to take pictures with your kids, so be sure to bring your camera! In case of inclement weather, the rain make-up date will be Saturday, April 3. For more information on any of the hunts please call (615)790-5719, ext. 10.

Lifeguard Training Registration

Williamson County Parks and Recreation will be holding our last session of American Red
Cross Lifeguard Training Courses on Saturday, April 17 through Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Indoor Sports Complex, 920 Heritage Way, Brentwood and at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Drive. Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Registration for these certification courses will be on Saturday, March 27 beginning at 12 noon. Interested parties must be at least 15 years of age (upon completion of the course), and must register in person at the facility of their choice.  Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Cost for the course is $125.00 per person and includes a manual, pocket mask and other associated fees.
