Our Arts & Crafts program offers a wide variety of fine arts and crafts for ages 3 and up to stimulate creativity and social development. Our goal is to provide an opportunity that will allow each person to have a good time doing something they enjoy while learning a skill.

KIDS CERAMICS – Huge Rabbit or Frog
Kids can choose either a rabbit or frog in various poses to paint.  These critters can be put outside in the yard or displayed in the house.  These guys are lovable and cute.  These ceramic pieces are larger than we have done in the past ceramics classes and are so much fun.  Wear old clothes it can be messy!!!!

STICKY FINGERS EXTRA!! – Mom and Me Club
Calling ALL Mom’s and preschoolers (participants do not need to be part of Sticky Fingers to participate).  This special class will have an Easter theme.  We will make an Easter Bunny basket, Easter Wreath and Easter Egg. Sigh up early space is limited.

KIDS SEWING – Tote Bag
Hey kids this class is a fun project and learn how to use a sewing machine at the same time.  Students will create a fun tote bag that is made out of a beach towel.  Please bring scissors, pins, and pin cushion.  To reserve a sewing machine call Cindy Moore 790-5719 Ext. 20.  Space is limited!

STICKY FINGERS PRESCHOOL CLUB
The “Sticky Fingers Preschool Club” offers children a fun place to come and explore a variety of crafting experiences. A different theme, with coordinating activities, will be offered each month. “Sticky Fingers” provides your child with a creative supplement to preschool by enhancing fine motor and developmental skills necessary to begin school. Sign-up today!

STUFF-A-BEAR - St. Patrick’s Day "Irish Bear" Workshop
Come with a friend… and stuff a cute, cuddly “Irish” bear for St. Patrick’s Day! Then make a special wish on a star, name your bear with a birth certificate, decorate a take-home bag and dress your bear in an Irish themed t-shirt! This is a fun St. Patrick’s Day activity for friends and family to share. Space is limited, so sign up early!

CREATIVE KIDS
This fun and exciting class lets children explore their creativity through different projects.  Projects vary weekly and include painting and decorating wood objects, creating pictures with felt, making bracelets, and also creating crafts with recyclable materials.  See the display case for examples of projects being made this month!  Register early, space is limited!

KID’S CRAFTS - Planting and Painting for Plant a Seed Day

INTRODUCTION TO MANGA DRAWING
Come join the fun in this Manga for Beginners class. Students will learn the basic layout and proportions of drawing Manga Shoujo (girl) and Shounen (boy) characters in the traditional "big-eyed" style of Japanese style cartooning.  Basic drawing techniques and skills will be introduced.  A suggested supply list will be made available upon registration.  Supplies will be available during class for a minimal fee.  No prior drawing experience is required.

MANGA DRAWING - Japanese Style Cartooning
In this Intermediate Manga Drawing class students will learn the fundamentals of cartoon drawing.  From body proportions, facial expressions, clothing and costumes. Action poses and Shounen characters will also be introduced.  A suggested supply list will be made available upon registration.  Supplies will be available during class for a minimal fee.  Previous drawing experience is required (see Introduction to Manga).  Contact instructor for further information.

DEB’Z DOODLEZ
In this on-going fun-filled class, participants create a practice drawing using basic shapes.  Then they build on by using a variety of methods including markers, colored pencils, pastels and watercolors to create a work of art!   Students create a different project each week in this monthly class.

KID’S CRAFTS - Peeps Easter Wreath             
What could be more fun than a wreath made out of the Easter-favorite candy, Peeps? Making one yourself! Join us for this fun class to create a unique and entertaining wreath made completely out of Peeps of all shapes-tulips, chicks, bunnies and eggs. This will surely wow your Easter guests – at home or taken to a relative’s home for the holiday.

CELEBRATE WITH ARTS & CRAFTS 
Schedule your child’s birthday party now!
Arts & Crafts parties are an affordable, fresh place to celebrate your child’s birthday!  Parents help plan the big day by choosing from a list of themes or, with the instructor, develop a theme that truly fits with the child’s personality and interests.  All craft supplies are provided.  Food and drink are provided by parent and are limited to a snack (cake, cupcakes, etc.) and a drink.
Days:  Parties available Monday - Saturday
Session/Party Length:  1 hour for ages 3-5; 1 ½ hours for ages 6-10
Time:  Varies based on room availability

Class Fee:  $5.00 per child attending

We are looking for instructors to teach arts and crafts.  If you have a talent for fine art and/or crafts and would like to teach give us a call.  You can bring in some extra money doing something you love to do.  You can choose your own hours that you want to teach.  We work out the class fee together and a supportive staff will do your advertising and class sign ups.
