Williamson County Community Chorus Director, Dr. Linda Bolding
With more than twenty years experience conducting adult choirs, Linda Bolding brings professional excellence to the Williamson County Community Chorus. Dr. Bolding's credientials include: a Bachelor of Music degree from Eastern New Mexico University, a Certificate of Performance in Piano from Nurnberg, Germany, a Master of Music Education degree from the University of Texas, a Masters's degree in Educational Administration from Texas State University and a Doctorate in Choral Conducting from Columbia Pacific University. She has also worked with Dr. Elaine Brown who supplied choirs for the Philidelphia Orchestra.
Dr. Bolding is a past conductor of Austin Civic Chorus and the Round Rock Community Choir. She was also the Director of Choral and Orchestral Ministries at First United Methodist Church in Round Rock, Texas. Her choirs have toured Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Scotland, Ireland and Canada. In June of 2006, Dr. Bolding conducted Mozart's Coronation Mass with members of the Round Rock Community Choir and First United Methodist Church-Round Rock at Carnegie Hall with the New England Chamber Orchestra.
Linda and her husband Randy moved from Texas to Tennesse to be closer to their daughters and grandchildren. They are definitely enjoying the beauty, the rain and the friendly people of Tennesse.
