Outdoor park user guidelines: 
1. Park hours are from dawn till dusk. 
2. Six feet social distancing rule must be observed by all patrons. 
3. No non-department organized adult league play is allowed at this time. 
4. No playing field, tennis court or other sports lighting will be turned on. 
5. All park amenities are open and used on a first come first serve basis.

Recreation facility operating policy and procedures:
1. Guidelines will be based on best practices according to CDC and other public health authorities and will be strictly enforced. 
2. The five personal health questions in the Governors pledge must be acknowledged.

• Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
• Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
• Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
• Have you had new loss of taste or smell?
• Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?

3. Face coverings are required on WCPR property unless one is engaged in physical activity. 
4. All WCPR staff will be required to wear protective masks while serving in the areas in which public use is taking place or otherwise interacting directly with the public. 
5. Admission into facilities will be based on occupational capacities determined by a formula for patrons and the total square footage of the areas in which activities are taking place. 
6. Admission will be monitored at the main entrance and no further admissions will be allowed when the facility meets its determined number of occupants. 
7. Individuals below the age of 16 will not be allowed to enter the facility unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 18 years or older. 
8. Once full occupancy is determined, additional patrons will be admitted only on a corresponding basis as patrons exit the facility. 
9. Each area of the facility in which an activity is taking place will have staff supervision to maintain social distancing and safe sanitization of equipment. 
10. These policies and procedures are subject to change based upon changes in applicable law at the Federal, State or Local level or changes in best practices according to CDC or other public health authorities.

4. Patrons will be provided supplies to wipe down and sanitize equipment before and after use. This will be monitored and enforced by staff. 
5. Trash receptacle liners will be changed out regularly. 
6. Floor vacuuming and sweeping followed by floor mopping with germicidal cleaners will occur daily. 
7. All door handles and other surfaces where frequent touching occurs will be wiped regularly. 
8. Water fountains are temporarily closed. Bottle fillers are available.
9. Locker rooms and showers will be available but modified for limited use.

Franklin Gymnasium
1. Room capacity: 40 
2. Staff will provide supervision
3. Social distancing of 6 feet will be maintained and enforced. 
4. Equipment is limited and on a first-come first-serve basis.  Patrons encourage to bring their own equipment.
5. Trash receptacle liners will be changed out regularly. 
6. Floor sweeping followed by floor mopping with germicidal cleaners will occur daily. 
7. All door handles and other surfaces where frequent touching occurs will be wiped regularly. 
8. Water fountains are temporarily closed. Bottle fillers are available.

Pickle Ball 

Franklin Basketball
1. Patrons may call for a reservation or sign in at the front desk for a slot if available
2. Time slots are 1:45
3. Time slots begin on the even hours (except Sundays)
4. Court use/availability is based on gym schedule
5. Patrons must exit the gym for sanitizing at end of each session
6. A 10 minute grace period on all reservations
7. Walk-ins allowed if slots available
8. Mask must be worn if not actively involved in an activity
9. Individuals below the age of 16 will not be allowed to enter the facility unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 18 years or older. 
10. Absolutely no spectators
11. 10 players max per basket  (4 baskets = 40 max players)
    *20 players max per court for volleyball
12. The Rec Center does not provide Basketballs
13. Reservations can be made up to 2 days in advance
14. All rules and policies will be strictly enforced
15. Patrons will be asked to leave if rules are not followed
   * Reservations Do Not guarantee a private court.
   * Depending on demand, patrons will share a goal.

Franklin Indoor Pool (Lap Swimming, Open Swimming, and Aqua Fitness Classes)
1. Pool capacity: 20 people maximum
2. Staff will provide supervision
3. Social distancing of 6 feet will be maintained and enforced.

1. Track capacity: 8
2. Time Limit - 30 minutes
3. Floor sweeping followed by floor mopping with germicidal cleaners will occur daily. 
4. All door handles and other surfaces where frequent touching occurs will be wiped regularly. 
5. Water fountains are temporarily closed. Bottle fillers are available.
6. ONLY WALKING ALLOWED.NO RUNNING
7. Passing allowed in corners ONLY
8. Regular facility rules apply
9. Maintain a safe social distance of 6 feet between yourself and others.
